We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Partnership Officer to expand our network of employers, training institutions, and funding partners.

Role Overview
The Partnership Officer is responsible for building and managing relationships with employers, training institutions, donors, and corporate partners to support AReL’s mission. This role focuses on creating job opportunities for graduates, securing funding, and developing training collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

1.Building & Managing Partnerships
Identify and engage with companies, NGOs, and universities to support AReL’s programs.
Maintain strong relationships with employers, donors, and training institutions.
Develop partnership agreements (MOUs) and contracts.
Represent AReL at events and meetings to promote collaborations.
2. Job Placement & Employer Engagement
Develop hiring partnerships to secure jobs and internships for graduates.
Work with companies to match AReL graduates with job opportunities.
Ensure training programs align with current job market needs.
3. Fundraising & Revenue Growth
Identify grants, funding opportunities, and sponsorships.
Support funding proposals and applications to secure financial support.
Help implement AReL’s employer revenue-sharing model.
4. Knowledge Exchange & Training Collaborations
Partner with training providers (e.g., Moringa School, ALX) for skills development.
Organize mentorship programs and industry workshops.
5. Tracking & Reporting
Keep records of partnerships, job placements, and funding progress.
Provide monthly reports on partnerships and employer engagements.

Requirements and Qualifications
Must be a registered refugee living in Kakuma.
The Partnership Officer should ideally have a bachelor’s degree or Diploma in one of the following fields: Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications, International Relations or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in business development, partnerships, or nonprofit work.
Strong networking and relationship management skills.
Knowledge of fundraising and donor engagement.
Ability to work independently and create long-term partnerships.
The Partnership Officer plays a key role in expanding AReL’s impact by creating job opportunities, securing funding, and building strong industry relationships.
